Founded in 1954, Enduro brings complementary FRP building panels, cable management systems and water/wastewater industry products to diversify CCG's product lineup.
The acquired company is one of the largest suppliers of FRP products in the United States and has a diverse array of manufacturing techniques that will improve project timelines for CCG, according to a news release about the deal.
Enduro manufacturing capabilities include pultrusion, continuous lamination, compression molding, resin transfer molding, open molding and fabrication.
In addition, Enduro lets CCG expand geographically and offer manufacturing support in the Western and Southwestern U.S.
Overall, the deal merges expertise and capabilities, CCG CEO Shane Weyant said in the release.
"CCG prides itself in being an integrated engineering and manufacturing group that companies are looking for to meet their unique needs for structural composites. We are often relied upon to manufacture materials quickly, which we also pair with the ability to produce products that are both strong and innovative," Weyant said. "Enduro joins us with a complementary product offering and high manufacturing standards, which is even more of a reason why this partnership is a good fit."
CCG is owned by Hill & Smith Holdings.
Enduro CEO Tim Broussard said he is thankful to Enduro employees, customers and shareholders for supporting the company's growth into a premier FRP composites manufacturer.
"We look forward to joining CCG and collaborating to expand the composites industry as the preferred material of choice," Broussard said.
